Al Haktur IT Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support the finance team in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking activities.
- Assist with VAT-related documentation and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional accounting certifications or ongoing studies are an advantage.
