Al Haktur IT Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support the finance team in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documents.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Support payroll processing and expense tracking activities.
  • Assist with VAT-related documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional accounting certifications or ongoing studies are an advantage.
