Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide prompt solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and support network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Ensure network security through firewalls, access controls, and regular vulnerability assessments.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing for network systems.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve network-related issues and implement system improvements.
- Document network configurations, changes, and technical procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in an IT solutions environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet network equipment.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
