Al Haktur IT Solutions is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and maintain end-user computing systems at our Dubai office. This role is essential in ensuring smooth desktop operations and timely resolution of IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support users with email, system access, and application-related concerns
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and service requests
- Perform system updates, patches, and antivirus management
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Assist with network connectivity and basic server support
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience as a Desktop Engineer or IT Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and desktop troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and system security
- Experience with ticketing tools and IT service management is an advantage
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple support requests
