We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our technical team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys problem-solving, providing hands-on technical assistance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for users and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot operating systems, office applications, email clients, and enterprise software.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network security components.
- Assist with server maintenance, backups, antivirus updates, and system patching.
- Respond to IT support tickets, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support users both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime and high satisfaction.
- Maintain documentation for IT assets, configurations, procedures, and support logs.
- Coordinate with vendors and senior engineers for advanced technical issues when required.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, IT Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux concepts, and common office productivity tools.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral device support.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
